Brad was in Copenhagen for two weeks before I joined him for our Munich and Paris travels. That’s too long. So my flight was much anticipated.

Saturday 6/3/17 and Sunday 6/4/17

Flying Norwegian means packing light. I managed to get all I needed into my JanSport backpack and a small side bag. My Lyft driver responded “that’s all you have?” when I told him I was going to Denmark, Germany, and France. Funny thing is that I feel like I over packed.

Jeans, leggings, shorts, cotton skirt, hoodie, packable jacket, 6 t-shirts, swimsuit, socks, undies, camera + 3 batteries + charger, phone + charger, toiletries, book, airplane pillow. That’s pretty much it. The key it to travel during the summer.

The flight was long and boring, but thanks to some melatonin, I wasn’t completely useless after the 11-hr flight.

Twenty minutes after landing in Copenhagen, I met up with Brad, and we jumped onto the next flight. Quick layover in Berlin, then onto Munich.

We bought a 3-day transit pass (unlimited, our fav) and sorta got directions to the Airbnb. We took a train to a tram, then hopped off the tram about 10 minutes outside city center. Which direction should we walk? Idk. No data. No map. No knowing where to go. We wandered for nearly two hours before finding Griechenstraße. Only then did we realize we didn’t even have the house number. Up and down and up and down till we finally paid $10 for a day of Data. Then our host called and said she saw us from her balcony. We finally got to put our stuff down and rest for a sec.

We wandered around the neighborhood a bit, but fell asleep early. 🙂

Monday 6/5/17

Basically a day of wandering. We love Munich. And I loved understanding German! Impressed Brad a bit when I ordered some breakfast in another language.

Tuesday 6/6/17

We shall defeat the rain! Brad and I mostly just wandered around all day, but here’s what we saw: Nymphenburg Palace, some random art museum that was way lame and over priced, the English garden, a million cute puppies.

What we ate: pastries, pastries, pastries, a ball of mozzarella stuffed with another kind of cheese, pastries, crispy pizza, pastries.

Highlight of the day: picking cherries with an old lady in a hospital parking lot.

So my Fujifilm isn’t made for selfies… Wednesday 6/7/17

Last day, train day! We packed up our stuff and walked downtown. We saw the cutest market! Oh my goodness.

We booked train tickets online. It was so easy to find the train and get our seats.
