Why we don’t let moms spectate engagement sessions:
- Uh, no one ever wants to kiss and smooch and cuddle and kanoodle with their mom watching.
- End of list.
I hope I didn’t offend Wilson’s mom and grandma when I told them to stay in the house! They seemed cool with it, and they even closed the blinds so we wouldn’t feel snooped upon. But we did go into the house for a few awesome stairway photos. I mean, these stairs are to die for! The cutest thing was there were clear foot prints from years of use. And not on every step. You could tell which foot they took the first step with, and it alternated every step going up. I could take their entire morning walk. So cute.
This Palo Alto backyard engagement session turned out super cute, in my ever-so-humble opinion. 🙂
Photo tip: if you’re taking photos out of the golden hours (the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset), find shade! Use the sunlight peeking through the trees as a bit of rim lighting. Avoid spotty light on faces.
